Who We Are

Tara has extensive experience as a creative director / graphic designer / front end developer. Prior to founding Honeycomb Collaborative, Tara served as creative lead for Pearson Education’s global corporate marketing and creative services function.

There, she was charged with implementing the global brand architecture and newly developed identity. Tara oversaw execution throughout her tenure spanning branding, front end web development, email, campaign (OOH, social, print ads), motion, presentations and more. Her experience includes both B2B and B2C design.

Tara has developed curriculum for both Suffolk University’s graphic design and Northeastern’s Professional Studies programs which cover topics including web development, critical thinking in design, creative concepting, accessibility and responsive design for multiple platforms. In addition to curriculum development, Tara still actively teaches undergraduate and graduate classes at both institutions.

She has her Master of Arts in Graphic Design from Suffolk University and a BA, both in Graphic Design as well as Political Science from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo. She has been awarded numerous ADDYs and other awards for her design work.
